1. Who we are

RideKip is a booking and customer management tool for independent transportation drivers, provided through the iOS app and related web services at ridekip.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information, associated with your account and used only for app functionality:

• Account information:Name, email address, username, or display name provided during registration.
• Customer contact information:Customer names, phone numbers, regular addresses, and notes you enter manually. You control this information and use it for your own work.
• Booking and trip information:Trip records you create, including date and time, pickup/drop-off places, flight number, passengers, luggage count, and notes.
• Financial information:Revenue records, payment status, tips, and expenses you enter manually. We do not collect bank card numbers or payment account information.
• User identifiers:Account ID, workspace ID, and referral attribution identifiers used to identify accounts and process rewards.
• Diagnostic data:API error state, login/session state, and sync state, used to improve reliability and diagnose issues.

3. Information we do not collect

In the current V1.0 version, we donot collect:

• Precise or approximate location
• Device contacts
• Photos, videos, or audio
• Browsing or search history
• Bank card, credit card, or payment account numbers
• Health or fitness data
• Device IDs used for advertising tracking
• Crash data collected by third-party crash SDKs. If introduced later, this policy will be updated.

4. How we use your information

Your information is used only for:

• Providing app features: account access, customer management, booking management, and revenue records
• Processing invitation-code signup and referral rewards
• Diagnosing technical issues and maintaining reliability
• Responding to support requests

We do not use your information for targeted ads, third-party marketing, or behavior profiling.

5. Sharing and third-party services

RideKip uses trusted infrastructure providers, and data may be processed by these services:

• Supabase: database and authentication services, with data stored in a protected cloud database.
• Cloudflare: API and content delivery infrastructure, providing transport encryption and access protection.

We do not sell data to data brokers, share data with ad networks, or authorize third parties to use your data for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS and access controls. User data is isolated at the database layer so other users cannot access your customers or bookings.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security issue, contact us immediately.

7. Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete personal data within a reasonable period, usually 30 days, except where law requires retention.

Guest Mode special note: When using Guest Mode without registering, all data, including customer and trip records, is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to the cloud. Deleting the app, clearing app data, factory resetting, or changing devices may cause Guest Mode data to be permanently and irreversibly lost. RideKip cannot recover local device data. To keep data, register a free account before uninstalling or changing devices and migrate data to the cloud.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• View and edit information you entered in the app
• Request data export
• Request account and data deletion
• Ask questions or object to data processing

9. Children's privacy

RideKip is for adult professional drivers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or email. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
