Multi-day charter trip management

A five-day charter is not one long timer. Each day has its own agreement, actual hours and costs. Keep those daily details connected to one order.

Plan each day separately

Set the agreed start and end time for each day. Copy another day's schedule when it fits, or edit a day individually. Daily routes and destinations can differ; they do not have to repeat the first day.

Record what actually happened

Use start and finish actions during the trip. If you missed a tap, correct or enter the actual time later. Finishing a day makes the actual duration and any overtime easier to review.

Keep extra charges visible

Record overtime, parking and other costs against the order. Money advanced for a customer is different from a driver expense: keep the amount still owed visible and reconcile it when collected.

Settle daily or at the end

Some clients pay overtime each evening; others settle the whole trip on the last day. Record each collection and reconcile the relevant charges. Review the overall charter summary on iOS, or use Web for a more detailed breakdown.

Illustrative example

Two days do not have to share the same schedule

Day one agreement
08:00–18:00
Day one actual
08:00–18:30: review 30 minutes beyond the agreed end
Day two agreement
10:00–17:00
Settlement
Record the applicable extra charge, then reconcile it when collected

The overtime charge depends on your agreement and charging rules; this example does not set a rate.

Before your first trip

Are included hours always a trip-wide total?

No. The agreement can be daily or trip-wide. Set the appropriate basis instead of assuming every day uses the same hours.

Does finishing a day complete the whole order?

No. Daily actual times and the order's completion status serve different purposes. Complete the whole order when the service is finished.
